About the Soccer Talents Website

The idea of soccer talents website was actually born when my son was playing soccer for over two years at his age of eight. I was in internet business for a long time at that moment and always looking for new website ideas that could become successful. Well, success on internet can be measured in different terms, mostly through income generated. But TopTenBestsellersSite is different in this manner. Its primary goal is to bring soccer players - talents and their parents (in case of underage players) on one side and coaches/scouts on the other side to one common place.

First of all, the site is build for players and their parents themselves. When I was attending son's soccer games I have seen and spoke to many parents and soon I realized that almost all of them (including me) see their own kids in a much better light than other attendants do. I mean, nobody says it loud, but inside their heads many parents think that their kid could be the 'next Messi', although it is at the same time clear to most of them that this is mission impossible. Anyway, parents are proud on their kids playing the most popular game on the world so well, so they bring cameras with them. They record almost every move their son or daughter makes. So I started thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have one common spot on the internet, where parents could upload their kids soccer movies, where they could rate the movies, like or dislike them, provide comments, share them, etc. There is a lot of such video material on YouTube available, but I am speaking about organizing them in a niche theme.

While thinking a bit more about the new website idea itself I soon realized that such a site could be also interesting for soccer coaches and scouts, by only adding a few more data next to each video about the main actor - player - soccer talent. Coaches and scouts are all the time searching for fresh soccer talents all over the world. Wouldn't it be nice for them to have an online tool, where they could search the database of players under several criteria and the result would be a list of potentially the best players available? For example here in Slovenia where I live it is the practice that good young players with great potential soon move from local club to a bigger one just few miles away. Coaches who also play the role of scouts in this case are mostly looking for players in the region for positions that are not covered by their domestic club players. So the idea is that coach would go online in this case, and would for example start a search of 9 years old players from Slovenia, who play as midfielders. Once he would run the search and a list of players would be provided, he would check their ratings, play some of their videos presenting their soccer skills, and finally shorten the number of potentially interesting players to three of four for example. Only then he would go on the field and check those players practice and live performance to finally select one of them.

I decided to make the website zero cost for users, which means FREE of any subscription fee.
